PLEASE LOCK, Sold: Sega CD/Mega CD Import Game Converter cart

SOLD, PLEASE LOCK.

I had this listed on ebay a few weeks ago, but because it enables import games to be played on a console - even if that console has been discontinued for over 14 years - they pulled the auction down for violating their listing policies.

Anyway, what I have here is the hard-to-find Pro CDX cartridge from Datel, for use with model 1 Sega CD and Mega CD consoles. It will allow you to play import Sega CD/Mega CD games on any USA or European Model 1 console (not sure about Japanese consoles). (If you're reading this you probably already know it, but the Model 1 Sega CD/Mega CD is the originaly release with the opening door, not the closing lid.) As far as I know, it will play any import game from any region, but I've only ever owned a few imports, all of which worked flawlessly. ** User Bighab in post #11 believes he was able to use the same cart with his Sega CD Model 2, but I do not have a console to test this on.

The cartridge is complete and in mint condition with the instruction sheet inside. Check out these photos of the actual item for sale:

I just bought the evermind cart that does the same last week, but it is for model 2's. I have never seen one for a model one. I didn't even know there was a way to do so on that type. This is a nice item and hard to find I am sure of it.
