Who do you all think would be more fun to hang out with in a gaming scenario?
John or Barack?
Just hanging and playin' maybe a little Puzzle Bobble / Tetris Attack maybe a little H2?
Peace all!

Barrack seems more layed back. He might go with some tetris...
I don't care though. I can't stand either of these guys....

"What you point is?"
Huh'?
My point is that if one was given a choice to hang with a potential president of the United States to play a few games.... who would YOU choose?
and (for fun of course) why?

Dr. Mario and a discussion of Universal Health Care. Those seem to go well together. Oh, and Barack. John's arthritis might make his hands fall off.

Neither, hopefully. I love video games, but I don't want a president who sits around and plays video games. Maybe after his term is over I'd be down for a game of Civ or something, but not now.

but WITH Universal Health Care John might be REALLY good with Dr. Mario.
Especially if Dr. Mario is paid on a even scale with his peers in all corners of the nation.

I doubt seriously that either one of them has ever played a video game.

Obama certainly may have -- when Space Invaders came out, he was in high school.

This thread would have been much more amusing had Hilary been included and you should all know why, lol.

You would have to choose "John" for the military stuff and I'd guess "B.O." for the more light styled games. I choose neither to hang with. JMO

Definitely Barack. He's already admitted to loving Pong back in the day.

J and B seem equally dull to me. Depends if the VP nominees would attend as well. I'll take a MILF over Biden any day. ;)
Though you may want to keep FPS off the agenda if John comes over. You don't want to trigger a 'Nam flashback. I bet the old guy still remembers how to snap a neck or two. LOL

McCain couldn't play pong, he was in a Vietnamese prison during its heyday, as he often point out. This would be one of those questions they get asked, like what's your favorite music, that just makes you quiver, because their answers are usually PC/BS.
All I know is, if it were up to once Dem, now McCainic Job Lieberman, Pong is about as graphic a game as we would be allowed to play.

Maybe it's just a generational thing, but envisioning someone sitting down in front of a couch with a game controller in hand.. Obama seems like he'd be the least awkward of the two. But he strikes me as more of the EA sports title type gamer, and that's not really my thing.
McCain on the other hand, could probably give one some good pointers on the combat flight sims or Medal of Honor series, even if he doesn't quite have the agility to play them so well.

I wanna play some run-n-guns with Bob Barr. That'd be awesome.
But for the two major candidates, I'd have to say playing Rambo with McCain would be fun, just to see if he loses it. He's famously non-computer literate, though, so think in reality you'd have to get him to play some Brain Age, electroplankton, or maybe Nintendogs.
Barack strikes me as some sort of cerebral gamer, maybe the sort of chap who eagerly awaits the newest Romance of the Three Kingdoms game. He still prefers to play is Koei strategy games on the SNES, I bet.

BHO can't bowl worth a damn, therefore I have concluded he would suck at video games as well.

If neither one played games before, it would take a LOT less instruction for Barak to get the hang of the game and play. With John it would be like trying to teach your grandfather how to play video games. John woudl be like "which end do you talk into?" or "do you roll dice?"
Barak would pay attention and listen to every instruction, then get bored with the instructions and just dive in like the rest of us do.
I agree with some of the above posts. Once both got used to playing, I'd want John to be a backup guy with me in Rainbow Six.
Barak would get all giddy playing Midnight Club or NFL Street. *yawn*

Barack Obama for sure. He's smart enough to analyze the puzzle trends, predict what piece can go where, and lastly, be able to master the controller.
McCain for sure would not be able to work the controls, in any of his houses, wherever they are. It would never come to that, as McCain would bow to his religious right masters who would tell him that games are a gift of the Devil to weaken the minds of humans and make us want to have pre-marital sex.....

I was going to post in this thread, using some clever video game analogies to show you all that I think both republican and democrat candidates are the same thing, their policies are the same, they're both owned by the same corporate bankers, and how the corporate media, owned by the same people who own the politicians focus on stupid little minutiae to perpetuate the illusion that they're different in order to entertain you and take your attention away form third party candidates, and they're both lying politicians who you wouldn't want to socialize or game with anyway.
But that would belong in off topic, where it would be locked sooner or later anyway. With or without video game references.
Run on sentences FTW.

Hillary might be an opponent to all things videogame, but her buddy Joe Biden (Barack's runningmate) is right around the corner with his tech stances:

Can Gordon Brown join in too? ;P
In fact, we should organise a Prime Minister / President video game tournament. Yasuo Fukuda vs. the World on Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Seeing as how McCain has admitted to never using a computer during his life, I would go with Barrack.
