Hi everyone. I'm getting ready to move and discovered I have way too much stuff. I'm thiking about putting my old video game mag's up for auction, and I need some advice. Basically, I have a lot of Nintendo Power (mostly issues from the early 30's up through issue 80) and Game Players (anywhere from 1991-1996). I have a few other kinds, a few Super NES buyer's guides and around 9 or 10 Nintentdo player's guides. My question is, should I bundle all these up together for sale/auction or should I split the NP and GPs up? BTW, if anyone is interested in exactly what I have, I can post the list. However, I'm only interested in selling these in some kind of bulk...no more space left in the ol' UHaul :)

My suggestion is to just give them away - I had a collection that included Next Gen 25-finish (maybe 3 years), 30 or so EGM's, a similar number of PC Gamers plus other assorted mags, and the auction ended at like 5 bucks. The buyer decided the shipping would be too much, so I just gave them to a cool indie video game store downtown. Unless you have old old old Nintendo Powers or the first few issues of any mag (Next Gen, EGM, anything before NES), I don't think you're going to get much for the collection.

Peace,
Kev

i would buy some mags. the np's would be issues 30's through 65. And the other stuff would be about the content.

how much are you wanting for them? and how much do you think shipping would be? I'm interested in buying the lot from you.

@lexicon: email me an offer at hajjej@aol.com. Since I'm in the process of moving, I probably won't be able to get to the post office for shipping rates until later in the week, but I'll let you know when I do.
