eBay 'Best Offer' not working properly?

I've noticed with some irritation that a few of my items have had best offers submitted, but eBay has not sent me notification emails for them - and also that despite several of the items have best offers open on them, my selling summary tells me that I have zero items with offers open - unless I switch to the new "My Ebay" beta ... which does tell me which items have offers on.

Is this part of the ploy to get people to sign up for the new "My eBay" format - make the old one work so poorly that there's no real choice?

Edit: Ack! And the new Auctiva doesn't work properly either!! When I try to edit my listings, most of them won't display the description section, so I can't edit it in any way - and half the time I open a listing to edit, it won't let me save it again!

Why oh why can't these companies be content with not fixin' what ain't broke?

I haven't been getting best offer notification emails -on time- for a while. I get them a few hours, or even A DAY, late.

I just checked my auctions, and was looking at some random items - to discover that I had best offers pending on a couple of items, with only 16 hours left to expiry - and I'd never received any email about them! All from the same user. They were damn good offers too - I've accepted most of them now.

If I hadn't seen these before the auctions ended, I'd be pretty pissed off. Plus, when I checked the stats in the old style "My Ebay" it was still telling me that none of my items had offers on them, when about 5 or 6 of them did.
