Well, there only seem to be two websites left that don't threadcrap my threads, one of which happens to be at this wonderful site. So anyways, here I am, trying to make another sale while clearing out my inventory while simultaneously avoiding threadcrappers. So I present this gem - a complete in box, mint Super Nintendo Model 2:

This system is in fantastic condition. The only thing making it 100% complete is the missing barcode on the back, the baggies wrapping everything, and the twist tie on the controller. Otherwise this is in perfect shape. Not pictured is the SNES instruction manual which is also in great condition. The exact same thing just sold on ebay for $200 shipped, only it had the baggies. All I am asking for is $160 + shipping or best offer. I am open to all offers including cash, things on my tradelist, and other things that would be cool to own. I know the pictures aren't fantastic, so if you want some better ones, or pictures more oriented towards wear or scratches, let me know. Thanks for looking.

I have a MIB SNES mini with all the plastic bags and papers and whatnot, so I'm excited to see it's worth a little more than the $40 I paid for it, but I don't know what barcode you're talking about - could you enlighten me? This has got me a little excited.

Well, IIRC, a Model 2 is worth more than a regular model. As for the barcode, you see the red box next to DK on the back? With the arrow pointing down? There should be a barcode there, but it has already been punched out.

I always thought that's the way they came to the store. Same for a few other Nintendo things I got (DS and GameBoy Camera to name a couple).

Actually the box isn't missing anything. The cutout is there so you can see the serial number on the bottom of the system without opening the box. I think the cardboard piece that was there was removed before they even were shipped to stores. Nice system BTW.

That box with the serial number hole in the box should indicate that it is a legit Nintendo 2 and not a counterfeit that was available a few years back on ebay. We had a thread at DP about it though I think the thread is long gone. I would have to do more finding to conclude if it is legit or not though 90% it should be the legit SNES.

I'd be all over this, but I am currently in the process of moving and don't have an address! >.<

That was always my belief on it as well.
