I got this game today. I love it! The graphics and sound rock as well as the action!

Great game, but you'll have some issues with the first boss, mostly due to a funky camera system.Actually, most of the boses are brutal, but that god damn spider took me some time to beat.

Fun game, but way too short...and there wasn't enough there to make me want to go back and play it over.

Indeed way too short. And a horrible camera.
Especially in the first boss fight with the spider it's impossible to see where you're going. This way the game forced me to play it on easy, so I finished it in about 6 hours.
Big waste of my 40 bucks.

I only paid $15, but i would have gladly paid $40, had I known how good this game is. Everything you do feels natural. The camera IS a little tricky, but I like it because, once you master the game, it makes you look damn cool, and you can show off much better than you could from a standard "over the shoulder" 3rd person view.

I love the ease with which you can take out multiple enemies and chain huge combos with both the guns and melee weapons. This is the sort of stuff I always imagined doing in a video game, back in the NES days.

I met the first boss...he isn't pretty that's for sure.

The camera angles do suck I'll admit but I love the action aspect of the game myself slicing enemies with your sword then finishing them off with your shotgun.

Played it for 10 minutes, I have a VERY SORE SPOT for bad camera angles, if a game has em, I won't play it. Biggest offenders:
Mario Sunshine
Devil May Cry
Sonic Adventure

Best camera angles:
Spyro

Just can't understand why (Mostly nintendo) games have bad camera angles when other games get it perfect, why mess with something that isn't broken?

I loved Devil May Cry... I got up to Nightmare 3 (You'll see nightmare soon... man, what an amazing creation) and before I gave him a shot I saw one of my friends get RAPED by him just endlessly, probably 10-15 tries in a row. I never touched the game again until about a month before DMC2 came out.. picked it up, beat nightmare 3 on my third try, took some time to kill the final boss but I finally beat the game.

Beating that game (on normal) was so very satisfying for me. I don't know when this happened, but I suck at videogames now. Console games a least, there's just something so natural for me about the keyboard/mouse combo. Probably has something to do with the 3 years I didn't touch a console and played everquest exculsively. But I digress...

Stay away from Devil May Cry 2, done by completely different people and it's a completely different game, definitely for the worse.

Borrowed it from a friend recently. Loved the style, hated the gameplay with a passion. I wouldn't ever buy it myself.

Has anyone managed to get higher then a C rating on the missions? I'm trying to least get higher then a C on the 1st mission for now along with improving my killing skillz.

I never bothered with grades, but I had a few A's and B's in my final total. Some of the levels are real short and really easy to blast through. I don't remember the reward for getting all A's but it was something incredibly stupid like a picture of all the developers. Beating it on Hard mode, then on Dante Must Die mode is where the real treat is... Super Dante. Infinite devil trigger.

ah DMC, the game you love to hate. i borrowed this from a friend, and loved playing it but found myself bored with it about 30 minutes in.

I think I got a B on one of the missions. Quite a few times I thought I did well but got a C or D. I also only paid $15 & still think it's a waste of money. I didn't care for this game one bit. I played thru just to finish it & probably never will again...I was really looking forward to it, too.

I still really liked this game. I've gotten A's on some of the missions before, and I think I got an S once or twice. Things you want to watch for to improve your grade:

-Speed at which you move through the level
-Number of things you found (and if you did all the secret missions in the level)
-The ratio of stylish/great to good/dull combos you have

I still don't see what the big deal is with the camera angles. I've seen far worse, and I could tell what was going on at LEAST 90% of the time while playing.

@Sylentwulf: What Nintendo games have bad camera angles? Note that I'll have to take your word on Mario Sunshine...I haven't had a chance to play it yet.

Anyone know some the time requirements for some the missions then by chance? The first mission I usually try to do everything I can quickly (and usually end up wasting time getting that 1st Blue orb), rush through ahd fight only when I have to up to when you get trapped under the bi-plane room and in the bi-plane room in the first mission.
