Oh, and before anyone starts on the 'They ripped off Gears/Starcraft/etc. etc.' rant, you should know that 40K has been around since the early eighties. 40K ripped off Heinlen, and we should be grateful for it.
Do not fear to use the biggest gun.

Ive always like playing 40k, but I've never enjoyed any of their games. This one does look like it has promise, but the jury is out for me until I get to play a demo. I want to see a Spacehulk mission too...

That looked fantastic. I'm tired of the only 40k games being RTS.
In the video it looked like an Ultramarine in terminator armor with a jet pack, bolter and chain sword. I hope we can choose which Adeptus Astartes unit we want. Blood Ravens kick everyones ass.

I'm about 90% sold on this one. I can't imagine how awesome this will be with a 100% Bolt Thrower (http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=234) custom soundtrack.

I still got some 40k minitures laying around somewhere from when I used to play tabletop 40k.
I own all the 40k games for pc cept for the ones that came out pre windows 98.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I absolutely love the 40k universe, but I'm horrible at strategy games, so this looks right up my alley. I really hope they let you choose different chapters, or maybe even make your own. One thing that always bugs me about these games though is that they leave out most of the races, and the 40k setting loses a lot of flavor in the process. They should include a multiplayer deathmatch type mode with all the races included... Tau, Necrons, Tyranids, etc. Working them all into the main story might be difficult, but a free-for-all would be amazing.

I saw it a few weeks ago, and I have to say it looks fuckign terrible. I mean seriously could you fuck with the fluff anymore?! The combat looks crap anyway, and they're taking the "grim dark future" way to seriously :| I don't know what the fuck that it is, a chapel or something :| Whatever it is it should be lined with candles and incense burners. And WTF is up with the SM?! Why is he so hulking and slow?! The astartes are FASTER then humans.
Why no 3 round burst? Why does the combat look so lame? Why is the chainsword not cutting them in half? Why is the chainsword biting through the admantium like it's nothing? Why is the bolter not using explosive rounds? I can't tell if it's a bolt pistol that's too long or a too small bolter.
Whats with the khornate loonies being such pisspoor at close combat? They're raving mad killing machines that can't get close enough, what's with this staying back and circling?

I think those were Word Bearers, Dao2. Chaos Undivided.
Plus, it's in alpha stage. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt for now, just because I want a good action 40K game, and Fire Warrior was such a disappointment.
