Gamestop Question

I bought a used XBOX and a year warranty on it for 9.95 but I have decided that I am just going to do PC gaming from now on.

I have the receit and I was wondering if they would be able to give me store credit? its been like 2 weeks since I bought it

having said that, there are still a couple REALLY good xbox games you can only play on the xbox and are dirt cheap now, so i say its still worth it.

(or you can mod it to play ROMs of every 16bit system and then some!)

they won't give you store credit, the best that they would do is give you another one since they're return policy states that opened returned merchadise will be replaced by the same product. maybe if you returned it claiming defective and they didn't have another one to give you, then they may thow the balance on a gift card, sans warrenty amount of course.

Yeah depends on the manager, but here is what you do..

Bring everything down there, explain the story. If that doesnt work, tell them all you want is credit for PC games. then tell them you will PREORDER a couple games too. If you don't already have a discount card, sign up for that too.

If you can get down there before spore gets out, tell them you will preorder it, or even pay it off so they know you are actually coming to get it.

You gotta speak their language!!
