I want to know how many NES were made. Actual cartridges that one could buy. Including licensed, unlicensed and pal.

I don't want to know anything about roms or be directed to wikipedia. I just want a correct number. Thanks

Cause PAL is a region...... so you want like every nes game every made? ntsc,ntsc-j,pal?

yeah but how many of those ROM dumps are 10010101010101001 in 1! Chinese pirate carts? (featuring such things as 99 versions of mario brothers, where he begins with 1 life, 2 lives... 99 lives, etc, as well as an additional "99" versions where he is palette swapped to be Wario.)

It would also be interesting to know what the production run numbers are for some games. Does anyone know what Nintendo's minimum production run was to publish a title?

Well, considering only 2000 of that dumb Power Pad game were made, maybe 2000?

Pretty low number, honestly. I'm not sure NOA cared as long as they got their cut.
