The game was brought up in another thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118337) in June. I haven't played it myself, but I have yet to read a good review on it. Sounds like something I'd try out someday for the possibility of a few laughs.

It's bad. How bad? When you need to look stuff up to understand what the random characters are in the game, thats bad.

Yeah, it's bad. I paid $4 for a CIB copy and that was way too much.
To add further detail on how horribly-made the game is:
there's an item for sale called the "story book" or something like that. Upon buying it, it details how the planet Melmac exploded ("everybody plugged in their hair dryers at the same time"), and once the 4-sentence story is done, it RESETS THE GAME. They warn you about the item in the instruction manual, but never bothered to try to fix the programming code. Lazy SOB's!
But honestly, it's horrible beyond description.
Want to buy mine? :D

I'd buy it for a dollar ;)

I'd buy it for $5.00 shipped.

It's...pretty bad. I had to get it for my complete US set, but I can safely say...it's pretty bad.

For example, when you get the salami from the fridge to use a weapon in the cave area...hit detection is HORRIBLE. You know you hit the damn bat and you STILL DIE. It's easier to avoid than kill the damn bats.

Otherwise, it has promise if you have enough patience.

Is it the worst "Alf" product ever made? Worse than the animated Alf show, or Alf's late night show with Ed McMahon?

The ALF brand condoms were pretty subpar (which were made from recycled PIggly Wiggly grocery bags). Having put their faith in what they regarded as an unimpeachable imprimatur, many an unsuspecting lass was inadvertently impregnated between Mid-September and Early October of 1987.

There's a joke involving that and salami somewhere in there...

Imagine the crippling disappointment of receiving this new for your birthday.

Didn't stop me from beating it, tho. The pain!

You beat bats about the face with a stick of hard salami.

It is the most radical game ever devised.

My friend, I bow down to your superiority. :)

haha, i have a long history of being so infuriated by bad games, that I made it a point to defeat them just as a form of revenge. ALF was no exception. The music still haunts me to this day.
