Saw on craigslist today (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/tag/827466860.html), if it's still there.
Two seater Sega Super GT (SCUD Race) with a board error for $300. If I had the space I'd be all over it as it's one of the few arcade games that still make tremendous bank on route. That and it's also a blast to play, one of my favorite modern arcade racers.

The boards alone are worth the $300, broken or not, never mind the rest of the cabinet. If I weren't on the opposite coast, I'd have already bought it. And yes, you're right, David, the game DOES make money on route still, even as old as it is. What a steal at that price.

Whats the deal with all the good arcade cabinet sales being hundreds of miles from me. Were arcades more popular on the west coast or something?

Yeah, $1.00 a credit still at that, all day. Alas in my studio I only have room for my Galaxian cocktail and eventually a Klax or Tetris cabaret (which are both JAMMA with the same layout, although I'd prefer Klax).

They did last longer here in Silicon Valley but most of the super cheap "come pick it up" arcade cabinets I see are in the midwest. Yes though, arcades survived for quite awhile out here and then of course we have the yearly celebration of the lost industry here (http://caextreme.org/).
