Here are the 'special' Game Boy Camera movies starring Apollo and Frankie Says Relax:

I did not anticipate that we would reach the fourth page already in the thread so I just want to make everyone aware that I have all of my links posted to all the videos and pictures I took at NAVA on my post on the third page. Take note, Apollo and Frankie, that I posted both of your respective videos of you playing Game and Watch Ball through my Game Boy Camera [I also threw in extra DJ sequences in both videos too].

Ahahaha, I enjoyed that much more than I should have.

Looking back at that day of playing in the Retro tourney makes me say "Man, I really sucked at that game...."

Heheh. I got schooled during the final match. I think I do want a Combat rematch sometime in the future. (Cue Rocky's "Eye of the Tiger")

Heh. I'm up for a challenge anytime. Except if it's around 3AM, that's just way too late.

2600 is better than Wii/Brawl and Rockband combined! Maybe if we get a couple le sticks (http://classicgames.about.com/od/consoleandhandheldgames/p/LeStickProfile.htm), we could even get the entire Wii crowd to participate in another Combat tournament!

Agreed!

I don't mind Rockband, but the replay and fun of Combat takes it back to a simpler time. Hell, I'd love to see a Combat (2600)/ Bump N Jump (Colecovision) tourney.

While it was nice to have the Wii/Smash Bros on moritorium for a NAVA, I sorely missed Rock Band - especially with RB2 being out in full force last month.

And, I'd STILL like to get a 4 player game of Saturday Night Slam Masters up and running ... we did a few 2 player games, but it's just not the same as a 4 player brawl.

So...anybody who has a SNES multitap and will be at the October NAVA, please bring it along!

Rock Band will definitely be back in October. I'm also giving away a LOT of stuff at the next NAVA. I'll have an announcement and details after Nick's South Jersey event this weekend.

Does this mean that Mr. Digital Press will be gracing us with his presence at South Jersey Classic?

I heard he's coming. I heard he was going to come show up and debate Nick on topics like foreign video game policies, and the economy of the video game market.

This Saturday is my niece's birthday, so I can't be at SJC. I just hold off announcements until SJC is over. Nick deserves the monthly spotlight!

EVERYONE SHOULD GO TO SJC, by the way. Including myself. And I will, someday, when Saturdays aren't so demanding.

:O How dare you! LOL

I will admit though, it was to good to have a change from Brawl and Rock Band set up to setting up some games that I have never played before in my life like Combat, but I still did miss Brawl and playing with other peeps. It's always fun playing that awesome game. Hopefully this month it'll be set up! :D

Hmm... What else.... OH ! all of you must go out and get Sonic Chronicles. That game is amazing.

EVERYONE SHOULD GO! I look at that NAVA thread every month and see people in the Philly area make the trek to Digital Press (which is great), but they won't touch Next Level Videogames. Some come on Jersey / Delaware / Pennsylvania collectors, there is another gold mine awaiting you:

Check out the South Jersey Classic thread for more info: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122323

First Saturday of every month. All are welcome, and bring your trades & snacks!
