View Full Version : About those Starcade episodes on alt.binaries.emulators.misc

Yesterday I downloaded five Starcade episodes from the newsgroup ABEM, got all the RAR, PAR, and P* files. The RAR's seemed to combine just fine but when I play the video the picture freezes up after 10 seconds and the audio continues. They're ALL doing this. I even updated my WinRAR software, same result.
Anyone ever have this happen with a downloaded video file? Suggestions?

You need a newer version of DivX. I had this problem, then upgraded to the current version and that fixed the problem. I think I read that you need 5.03 or higher, but just get the latest.

Make sure you get the FREE one.
And Joe, I'd skip the Starcades and go for the ICONS episodes. Those are far more entertaining. You can get the Starcade's later :D
