Sega Mega CD model 2 not working

I just got myself a Mega CD 2.
When I turn it on I get this screen which says "Checking disc" and after that "Press start". Then I get a screen which shows "No disc".

The Mega CD 2 doesn't do anything (only the LED is burning). It doesn't spin. Anyone know what the problem is, and if it's possible to fix this?

Laser got weak or dirty lens.

I've not seen one of these with a burnt out motor yet, and all problems are usually laser or lens problems.

I would replace the lens, if possible.

Far easier to clean than replace. ;)

I also clean underside though, which is harder.
