Are there any Dreamcast emulators out there? I'd like to be able to play my CDs on my home computer (and watch tv at the same time).

So, does it exist?

There are several Playstation emulators out there. Two of them were even commerical offerings; one of them, Virtual Game Station, disappeared after Sony bought the company that made it, while the other, Bleem!, could no longer afford a legal battle with Sony.

What's left is still pretty good, although you will have to find a Playstation BIOS ROM image (not a difficult thing to do these days). I would suggest Zophar's Domain (http://www.zophar.net), if you're not familiar with it.

I don't think DC's as easy to emulate. Maybe because of the GD-ROM drive that isn't quite the same as cenventional CD-ROM.

So far there are 2 DC emulator on Zophar site, and neither is quite fully playable.

I would forget about DC emulation (emulating it on a PC that is) for the time being. I really don't see it emulated to any playable extent for at least a year or two.
