Well I have a winner her efor you all. Item # 220258557467. Bidder is dtisback2000. As most of you know I listed a bunch of items around a month or so ago ( sold most of em thanks guys!), to help get my car fixed. Well anyways had a few that didn't so I listed em on eBay. Most of my sales went without a hitch. Save this one.
First just to get him to pay I had to file a non paying bidder alert, then he sends me a money order 4 days later. So basically two weeks till the time he sends payment. So at this time my car dies essential, before it was coasting could get two second gear if its lucky. O I am spending every waking moment trying to get things taken care of to get it fixed etc. Finally find a rebuilt tranny and my nephew and his friend get it installed get it in running order, took about two weeks total to get everything done. During this time I had no transportation anywhere he took me to work and back. About a week after getting payment I e-mailed him explaining the situation, asked him give me a few more days and I will have it out. He then contacts e-bay and files a neg on me (mind you I have all saved e-mails both ways). Then he gets my contact info from eBay and calls me about 4 times over a two day period then threatens to call the police.
I get his package mailed finally. Two weeks after payment.E-mail him with a scan of the dc and receipt from post office. So then what does this winner do, he complains about how it was shipped parcel and not priority. I went back to see how much he was charged for shipping. I underestimated charges and only charged him 5 bucks for shipping ( which was stupid on my part don't know if I made a error when I listed I didn't catch or what). It cost me 12.50 just to ship it parcel with dc, would've been almost 20 dollars to ship it priority. Obviously at this point I could give a rats ass as he already negged me. Then he sends me this e-mail-
"hello liar, have not received items yet. however, you charged me for priority shipping but sent them parcel post. i have contacted eBay about this and you will be getting an email. i hope they take appropriate action and not let you sell anything else. i will be watching to see if you list any more items, you never no there may be a fake bidder on your items so you can see how it feels."
I contact eBay send them everything they ask for wait three days and they respond about a beta game auction I had closed. Great customer service. Now I get to do this all over again.
Now yes its not his problem that I had rl issues. But if someone would've contacted you explained the situation (over a small dollar item mind you). You would have a little bit of patience especially after taking forever to make payment to begin with. I am not asking for the neg to be removed. I can live with it over time ( even if it wasn't warranted). But the fact he threatened to ruin my account, and basically harassed me at home, no that dog wont hunt.

Honestly, way back when I had an issue like that when I was a bidder, where some dude went to college and did not have time to ship the game out.
If it ships out but super late, I see it as a completely warranted neutral feedback.
Now his situation is different because of the fact that he pussy footed around to pay you.
I would say that at the absolute harshed, you should get a neutral.
It sucks butt, but unfortunately, you offered shipping through priority and did not do it.
As for a negative, uh, the transaction went through, so that is not called for, and threatening your eBay account is also not called for.

Yeah, I'm sorry that happened to you, that sucks. That was pretty unwarranted on his part. I agree--a neutral at the most would have been called for. There is always one pain in the butt buyer that ruins it and eclipses all the good ones. I remember when I had to sell a bunch of stuff a year ago and everything went smoothly, except for one finicky bastard named Colecopedia. Total ass who busted my chops about my shipping charges. Thankfully he didn't leave me any negative feedback--he didn't leave any, actually, nor did I. I would prefer to never have to sell on eBay ever again--and I won't. DP all the way.
There is one thing I wanted to ask about in your post, however:
Finally find a rebuilt tranny
Is that like The Six Million Dollar Shemale? The Bionic Ladyboy? Because I could sure use one of those to turbo clean my house and yard, bake cookies, fix my car, and fight crime and solve mysteries all before lunch.

REPORT HIM!!!!!! NOW!!!!
This is clearly against Ebay policy and it will be HIM that will be NARU'd. He will be kicked out so quickly it won't even be funny. You have a case against him for harassment as well as blackmail (in a way). They can severely penalize him for saying that. You have the sword...now kill the son of a...

Wanna bet $20 on that? Ebay doesn't suspend buyers the way they used to, even with absolute proof of serious wrongdoing. You essentially have to commit a felony or not pay for a lot of items to be given the boot.
Still, you should report him for threatening transaction interference but you're not getting the neg removed or anything. Yeah it sucks you had IRL problems, but so does everybody else and a majority of buyers wouldn't care if the seller dropped dead.
Also it's not the buyer's fault that you undercharged for shipping. You advertised Priority and you shipped via a lesser service. That can make a big time difference, depending how far the item has to travel.

Depends. I will admit that alot of Ebay "representatives" don't give a rats ass and will do absolutely nothing to help. But there are a few gems that will indeed help out. Continue to pester each new representative until "the golden one" is reached.
My brother had another buyer insult him for him winning an auction by snipping. He forward the email to a representative and, of course, they did nothing. He continued over and over and over again, until FINALLY a competent representative handled the situation accordingly...by suspending the other buyer.
Of course, that is if the person wants to go through the hassle...

Am i missing something ?
I understood that you got the payment 2 weeks after the auction finished, that's 4 days after the 10 days you gave for payment, considering transit time it isn`t too much.
I think that if you do not ask for a 2 week period to ship packages, no matter the situation, it is a very irresponsible thing to do ... come on, 2 weeks to ship a package ???... and if you made a mistake in shipping costs, that is not a problem of the buyer, especially after 2 weeks

Now if you read the post I never complained about the neg , never, I was late I admit. And I took the hit. Not upset about that things happen and in the long run it will be overwritten. I guarantee ya he wouldn't have done it if the changes had not taken effect. But for him to complain about the shipping he was trying to take advantage of the situation pure and simple.

Did you missed the part where I contacted him and apprised him of what was going on? Most decent people would be understanding. I know the other three positive feedback's from those I contacted that were in the same boat and they didn't neg me
And yes talked to eBay a couple of times spoke with someone today who told me to e-mail the person who contacted me earlier. So yeah not letting it die, not worked up over things, as I wasn't before, but when you threaten to mess with someones livelihood they should be at the very least temporarily suspended.
(and I was waiting for someone to make a tranny joke I thought about spelling it all the way out but I said nah let em have their fun lol)
But yes I signed up at chasethechuckwagon after this situation started, and really was planning too anyways after I saw the other changes coming in.

I wouldn't get worked up over this. If you sell to people you can no longer leave negs to then you will get negs. More you sell more negs you will get. Bad sellers get more than others but hey after 12 months it falls off. You got your $ so move on.

i read that part but what if the repair took a month, should he wait for that long ?.
My point is :
The USPS makes things easy for you, you can even print and pay for postal services online ... there are many ways to deliver a package ... and if you did not wait nicely, why should he ?
You had only 18 feedback ... be fair, he does not know you.

He is correct. If you pay for postage online you can give the package to your carrier when they make their daily stop or you can call USPS and they will send someone to come and pick it up!
Some buyers would be understanding of your situation and some not so understanding. You may not care for how the buyer handled it but the buyer does have a legit beef here. In the end there is little you can do. Suck it up and move on.

So you think I should let him go through with what the plans then, um no. Like I said a teh beginning I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE NEGATIVE HE GAVE ME, I deserved it, I was late in shipping no doubt, I totally take responsibility, the negative is NOT what I am complaining about. Its what he said at the end about creating dummy accounts to screw with my auctions, that's the part I have a issue with. And wanted to give a heads up about it. Last reply I am making on this.

Oops.
Anyway, there's really nothing you can do about the situation after you've reported him and added him to your blocked bidder list. You might want to require that all bidders have a Paypal account, because it's unlikely that someone messing with you is going to link their PP account to a fake bidding account. Not to mention it's highly unlikely that he'll do anything at all as soon as this transaction is over. I'm sure you've noticed by now that most people are all talk on the internet.

Chances are he won't. Don't email him back and egg him on anymore. Just tell him you are sorry and leave it at that. Report it with ebay and if someone does screw with your account they will remove the negs.
If worse comes to worst remember if he can create multiple accounts to neg you then you can create a multiple account he won;t know about and start over. After 12 months when the negs fall off you can go back to the old one if you like. I wouldn't sweat over it too much.
