Hey everyone,

I have a strange issue; I need to know if either:

A. I have a wrong disc
B. This is the first non-variant find on the PlayStation.

I need a Disc picture (be it snapshot or scan) of both a *regular* black label, AND a *greatest hits* disc, be it from one source or one each from different people.

The two discs I have are black screen on a silver top, which is *like* a GH, but there's no GH designation in the SLUS on the case or CD. I have looked at every pic on ebay of both kinds, and all of the opened versions all feature the same disc.

Before I plunk down $50 to buy two sealed copies, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

This may or may not help, but

I just picked up Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (GH), and its exactly how you describe your Test Drive 5. Perhaps you should check a few more of your GH to normal, and see how they compare?

Could you check your Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (GH) and Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (normal), and let me know the difference? Since i don't own the Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (normal)

Need for Speed III black label is a color image of the speedometer, and matches up to the back of the insert and manual, so it's all one image. The GH is the plain black text version.

The TD5 discs do have an image on them, but barely. What compounds this problem is that several of the TD black label releases all have similar GH-like covers, but theirs had color tints to them, so you knew they were the right version.

As I've said, this is the first time I have ever come across something like this. Every other PSX disc has a very obvious GH version.

Did you see any GH info on the Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (GH) version? Besides the green colored case, and plain black text on the disc?

So its(NFS3) similar to the TD5, just with no image on the disc right?
