I know this person who is selling a 3DO, 2 controllers with 7 games...gex, killing time, samurai showdown, slam n jam 95, crash and burn, pebble beach golf, real pinball and 2 sample discs. They want me to make an offer but I don't want to low ball them but at the same time I don't want to over pay, what would be a good price for this lot?

Which 3DO model?

Games loose? Long boxes?

Between 50-100 based on the answers to these.

Kid Ice's pricing is about dead on. I think I paid right at $100 for a system, one controller, and about 13 games (some boxed/complete, others disc only) at the tailend of last year.

A guy I work with was offering me a CIB FZ-1 (all inserts, instructions, warranty cards...) with 2 controllers and about 10 games, ranging from disc only to CIB for $80, which to be honest was a pretty fair price. Anyway, I ended up haggling down to trading him a 2600 Vader and about 20 Atari commons for the lot so I got lucky there (none of that stuff cost me a dime).

Agreeing with Kid Ice and namzep here.

I sold my 3DO FZ-1 on ebay with no controller or games for $70 plus shipping and that was a "buy it now" 2 months ago.

I got my FZ-1 at a pawn shop about a year ago with cables, 2 controllers, and a couple games for $40. I thought that was a good deal and though it doesn't get much playing time, it was worth it just for Road Rash. I'm not a big racing fan but Road Rash on 3DO rocks.
