Well, saw this come up on CL and decided that a road trip was in order. It was up in Paso Robles, CA, about a 4 hour trip from Orange County. So I packed up the Buick after deciding it would fit no prob in the backseat (which it did, thank God!) and drove up to wine country. This was the first Moppet I have ever seen in person and was totally suprised as to how small it actually was. Damn, this thing is SMALL! This was Leprechaun of course, and actually is a pretty fun game. It has a greed element which always makes games a little bit better. Should I jump into the Pot O Gold right away or touch all the trees first (although the pesky Lepreshaun can touch them and reverse your efforts) to add to the pot value? Decisions, decisions. Hey if a 5 year old can play this game so can I

Any way here are some photos. Picked it up for $200 after a bit of negotiating. I am glad I made the 8 hour round trip to add this conversation piece and decent game to the collection.

Here is a link to another post with photos of my new score! Easier than resizing and posting here :)

Amazing piece and an incredible arcade find! I haven't seen one in person since years ago in a Chuck E. Cheese. Was hoping to see one at CAX but the story about and pictures of yours is almost as good. :)

Very cool find. I'd love to see some pics or video of the cab in action.

I was 9 when Moppet released those games.

Even then, I had to sit down to play them. I'd hate to try them now, as a 6ft 2, adult.

Ah, I remember Leprechaun! I know it from MAME, but I might have seen a cabinet somewhere in one of the many long-gone awesome arcades that I can't remember from the 90's. However, it's honestly the only Moppet game I know. What other ones are there?
