I'm a big fan of Guilty Gear, as are many many people. I'm honestly a little shocked that the hype for this one is seemingly so low. It's set in a medieval storybook setting, and looks like Guilty Gear meets Princess Crown. That concept right there is a big fat win. I couldn't find a thread for this, much to my surprise.

Here's the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Fantasia) entry for the game, and here are a (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhpscsRTol0) couple (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3T9HCUQs4I&feature=related) videos of gameplay.

I'd thought about importing a copy, but much to my delighted surprise, it's coming out this week as a 360 exclusive. Is anyone else interested in picking it up?

I'd rather import it for ps3. Those 360 controllers just don't work for me with fighters. On the bright side, the ps3 version has seen a big price drop.

I have the Japanese PS3 version and I really like it. It's really good fun to play, and looks absolutely incredible.

Bring on KoF XII, BlazBlue and IV.....

I played a friend's PS3 copy, I wasn't particularly impressed. It seems alright, but considering the sheer number of quality fighters available on PS2 and xbox, it just sort of fell to the wayside.

Looks like U.S. PS3 owners will get to check out Battle Fantasia... More than a little late, but whatever. The catch? It's download only.

Here's the story (http://kotaku.com/5313675/battle-fantasia-goes-downloadable-for-ps3).

I think this game has been tragically overlooked by most folks. It's not the deepest, craziest fighter out there, but it's fun and has some truly bizarre characters and mechanics.
