Yeah, "Stranglehold" is a favorite of mine too. Awhile ago there was a rumored track list released that included Iron Maiden's "Hallowed be thy Name" which had me all excited. I'm sad to see it didn't make it into the game.

When is one of these franchises going to get "Black Betty"?!

i am wondering how long until we get some of these songs on Rock Band as DLC. I know that a few of them already are, but i am interested in the others.

I'm pretty underwhelmed with this selection of tracks when compared to Rock Band 2.

I'll probably pick this one up disc-only, whereas I'm planning on making the full upgrade of equipment on Rock Band 2.

I've always thought "Hey Man, Nice Shot" would make a good guitar hero track. I guess the verses might be kind of boring but I can see the chorus being a nice power chord workout.

I think that's quite an impressive mix of songs. Tool<<<about time!

Not bad, a lot of overlap I left out but enjoy with Rock Band 2.

Seeing as this was going to be my hardware upgrade between the two games, I was hoping there'd be some decent songs. Tool pretty much seals the deal for me. (Now, if they could only get 'Eulogy' on there somehow)

OMG. Dammit by Blink 182. Haha. That's amazing. I thought for sure All The Small Things in Rock Band would be the only Blink I'd see. Sweet. That alone makes me want to pick this one up.

About a Girl is a swee Nirvana song as well. Definitely a classic, but nothing beats Rock Band 2 including Drain You.

La Bamba on GH? Seriously? :-/

Tbh I'm hoping for an update of a few (several) tracks from GH1-3 for use with the new instruments... not that this hasn't already been done with Rock Band 1 & 2, mind you.

I would love to see "stay together for the kids" on here that would be cool. Anyone know if the equipment for rockband will work with this game or vice versa I really dont think I will have the room for 2 sets of drums.

Now if only you can have cross-platform bands... :|

I was just thinking that Hey Man Nice Shot would be great on Rock Band.

I see quite a bit of X-platform songs. Not too many songs on there that interest me that aren't already on RB.

I will definitely be renting GH:WT when I get a chance if it works with RB1 instruments.

I believe so. The GH drums only have three drum pads, though, so I suppose it might be possible to hit a cymbal in RB and hear a drum sound.

Not a bad list, but indeed, RB2's songlist impressed me a lot more.
