my friend burned me a multimode 3 modchip for PSX, i installed it today and it works great :D i used wire from an 80 pin IDE cable and glued the modchip to the top of one of the big chips on the PSone board. just though id show off my work lol. sorry for the blurry pic but my camera sucks

its got stealth and can be wired in 4 wire mode for SCPH-1001 systems. it works on all versions of PS1 and can do stealth on models 550x or higher. for the SCPH-101 PS1 its a 6 wire install

Hope that big chip it's glued to doesn't get hot enough to fry it!

it barely gets warm :P if it did get hot enough to kill it there would be a heatsink on it.
