This pawn shop near my place has a Intellivision system 3 I believe, 36 games (don't know which games) I only took a quick look because I was in a hurry but the price was $99. is it worth it? I'm not sure about intellivisions.

Matters what games...though I say pass on the price. I have found Intelllies for under $25 bucks and games are cheap too. Not saying the system is cheap like quality but it shouldn't be that much.

unless theres some uber rare games in the pile (like stadium mudd buggies) the price is a little high, most inteli games aren't worth more then 1-3$ even complete, if you're looking to play the system a price of around 50-75$ would be a decent deal if everything was in working order.

I got my intellivision in the original box with all of the original instructions and the other crap normally included with about 15-20 complete packaged games with inserts for 29.99. Its up to you. You may find others for a much cheaper price however.

Yep it's all about the games themselves to see if it's a good deal or not. Where I live, an Intellivision system is a little hard to find in the wild, so around $30-$35 is a good price for the system only. But the cartridges seem to be rather plentiful, at least for the typical "commons". If anything, shoot over a list of the cartridges that the pawn shop has.

I'm heading back tomorrow, gonna check out the games. I heard Intellivisions get no love but its so hard to find one here. the only other one I've seen was the version 1 for 149.99, no box...no games...nothing. This is version 3 (if it makes a difference) everything here is so insanely expensive if I even find anything that is.

Well, the Intellivision III is much harder to find than the model 1 or 2. Check the games - see how many of them have white labels. That's a good indication of what era the games were made in. The Intellivision III was made by INTV after the 1984 market crash, so hopefully a lot of the games with it are post-crash titles. Stadium Mud Buggies, Spiker Pro Volleyball, and Body Slam Super Pro Wrestling are three rare ones to look for that would make the purchase worthwhile.
