Title says it all. Here are the rules. And yes, I'm expecting this to be one of the shortest lists on DP :)

1. Game must be available for both St AND Amiga. A title won't win by default just because the Amiga doesn't have it.

2. Both ports must have been released within 3 years of each other.

3. Game must have that "holy crap! those amiga programmers were sleeping at the wheel" quality.

4. The actual game must actually be a good game to start with.

5. Game must be significantly better on the ST than the Amiga. For example: Zork :)

I believe this exact same question came up on the English Amiga board months ago and nobody could come up with one. Part of the problem is that until the STe came out, the base ST was less capable graphically than the base Amigas. I collect and play both systems, so for the ST I have focused mainly on system-exclusives which is also a very short list.

I have an Atari 1040 STe and love it.

The Amiga was a much more powerfull machine in terms of graphics and sound, but from my experiance most games that were made for both machines had little difference because they were made for the ST and then ported to the Amiga and did not take advantage of the Amiga's strength.

Sure there are certainly exceptions (like the tired Shadow of the Beast argument) but a lot of games that were developed for both the Atari ST and Amiga 500 from 1985-1990ish weren't worlds apart. Usually they were very similar but when there were differences the Amiga usually had the upper hand with better sound or more colors.

As far as what ST games blow their Amiga counterpart out of the water... Well, i'm sure there are some out there, but nothing comes to mind right now.
