Digital Photo Album for the Atari 2600

I've kept this quiet until I knew the carts are close to completion. Some pre-sold to long term customers, others are available just now. As the technology is very expensive to make to run this Rom file, this will be a one off limitd run, very similar to the Tron Guy Picture Cart, but with many more pictures and a variety of pictures relevant to the Atari 2600. Below is a link to a page on my site not publicly known until now:

I could write a book on what a pain in the back this was to work on with people popping in and out of the project, bad luck and bad timing, sabotage, and other barriers, but somehow finally coming together thanks to a very talented programmer by the name of Greg Zumwalt(who some of you may remember from the Robocop and CoCo2 days). The code is done, the code will be burned on cart in Germany and sent to Canada for assembly in coloured cart housings. As there are not too many carts left(6 left), here are the remaining 6 first to be offered here for CGCC members and then in a few days, to be posted on another forum.

When placing an order please specify what number you want either in paypal or via pm here. The page will be updated as carts sell. Once the carts are all sold, like the Tron Guy Picture Cart, there will no more Digital Photo Album carts available ever.

Update:

Eproms are burned and boards are fully assembled, tested and working in Germany. Coloured cart housings and finished labels are here with me. Boards will be shipped to me where I will finish the cart assembly and then mail them out. More signatures have been added by various people involved. I'll let the signature identities and the amount of signatures be a surprise for when you open your package.

14 of 15 is available.

Update and New News:

More signatures have been added to this release by some very noteable names who are on various levels involved with the Digital Photo Album. There are going to be 6 signatures per cart, which I am very happy about.

I have one cart left 14 of 15 so if interested pm me for details. Seriously once all Digital Photo Album carts are sold that is it. They will not be re-released later as the technology inside is simply too expensive.

I'm not entirely sure what it is that you're selling.

The website seems to work fine for me. I donit have the timeout issue, so I am unsure what could be causing it on your end.

The Digital Photo Album works the same way a Kodak Picture Disc works, but it displays pictures of various people and things in relative high resolution(for an Atari 2600) and rotates throughout the pics. Not a big deal for a CD to do on a computer but defnitely a big deal when it is a cartridge and an Atari 2600 doing so.

So, can I use my own pics with it? If so, that's pretty cool.

The site worked fine for me.
