I bought an older hp computer for my mame cab. I am going to use the original arcade monitor so I am going to buy that arcade video card that everyone buyes, but I realized that that piece of shit computer doesnt have a pci-e slot to fit the card. Anyone out there have a cheap FAST nice computer for sale that has a pci-e slot?

I would possibly want a large hard drive, but NOT needed. It would need ram, and be internet ready (either high speed, cable or whatever) I just dont want a gutted machine, ie motherboard only.

I dont want some p1 or other crap computer either. I went to a flea market just outside of St. Ag. Florida the other day and almost bought an hp computer with that slot, but it needed it drivers downloaded from the the internet, and I have tried that before and that shit dont work to good.

But I also dont need a mouse, keyboard and monitor.

I dont want to spend a ton, so local people would be great since shipping would be a bitch. Pm me

By the way, I am in allison park pa, just about 20-25 min north of pittsburgh.

The arcadeVGA version 2 (I assume that's what you are buying) comes in both AGP and PCIe.

Quoted from the ultimarc order page: Version 2. For Arcade monitors and now PC monitors. Select AGP or PCIe when adding to the cart (PCIe is additional $10). Note if using PC VGA monitor, the adaptor, below, is required.

Unless the HP is ancient, it should have an AGP slot.

To save a few bucks, there's one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ArcadeVGA-AGP-Video-Card_W0QQitemZ300260208613QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ200 80920?IMSfp=TL080920117007r38360
