Ah, Crystal Pepsi...nothing like popping the top on a cold one and tasting something similar to corn syrup. One of the most disgusting drinks invented. I saw a 2 or 3 liter of the stuff on ebay a couple of years ago go for about $20. Man, people will collect anything! ;)

And an additional $7.50 to ship it.

God I hate people who try to profit from shipping.

When I ate at the Hard Rock Cafe in Japan (sometime in the early 90's).. a glass of coke cost about $10. And when you got it, it was SMALL! WITH ICE! >:(

*If* the seller sends this by priority mail, I can see justification in the $7.50 price tag. Especially since you'll have to pack this properly to insure no more dents. That means bubble wrap, peanuts and not to mention a big enough box to fit all the layers. A can of pop isn't exactly as light as a CD.

You mean Coke II? According to this, posted in 1999:

You could STILL find it, although I've never found it in stores. Probaly have to go to Atlanta to find it. :)

Did'nt Coke also try to counter Crystal Pepsi with a 'clear' soda?

O.K. Soda - the greatest thing ever. I would pay $5.00 for a can of it, and drink it right now :)

While it does weigh more than a CD a can of soda is only 12 ounces though. Add 4 ounces for bubble wrap and you can send it anywheres in the country Priority Mail for only $3.80.

Most likely, the can of soda, boxed with bubble wrap will push it over 1 pound (barely) costing up to $7.50 to send priority from coast to coast.

I still have some of the things that you could cut out of a twelve-pack box of OK soda: an air freshener (had this hanging in my car for a while), scissors, a comb, etc.

I have an unopened can of this sitting on top of my fridge. (Not a bottle as pictured here....)

Yup, coffee-flavored Pepsi. As I hear tell, this little can may be worth a pretty penny or two.

And does anyone remember Orbitz?

Flat fruit-flavored pop with gelatin bits floating in it. Cool thing was that the goo-balls were the same density as the pop, so they never sank or floated. Just - suspended - in the middle. It was tasty enough, but the consistency was a bit "slimy."

The fact that there is an after market for failed soft drinks just amzes me to no end.

I better go buy 15 12-packs of Pepsi Blue ;)

:puke: oh no...not again. Pepsi Kona is the most disgusting drink ever made. I remember being at a hockey game before it came out and they were giving free samples. Took one sip and then ran to the water fountain. Never again will I drink one of those...thank god it got discontinued.

But if you think about it, if someone likes collecting soda cans I guess the price isn't that bad.

For a while I collected cans of "Dr." soda. Just empty cans (I drank the soda first, then washed the cans and saved them). I had Dr. Pepper, Dr. Rocket, Dr. Thunder, etc. etc. I can't remember the weird ones that I only saw once. I've since recycled them all.

I collected unopened Star Wars episode one cans from Pepsi, left them in the garage, they froze, they exploded, no more collecting cans. Video games don't explode when they freeze. :D

I saw a comercial last night for some kind of 'summer only' soda -- Mountain Dew Eletric Shock, I think it was called. Maybe I'll put a case into storage. :D

If you went to the 33 cents store, you could get some Cool Ranch Soda!

I wouldn't think you'd be able to ship soda in the mail..
Wouldn't they be awfully mad at you if it exploded during shipping because it got jostled around and shook up?

Here Here! I loved OK soda and tried three or four times to get a "OK story" on the radio waves via their number.

...and I liked Crystal Pepsi.
