Check it out a Fester's Quest strat guide for the NES game and I've never seen one before. Would be nice to own it.

I dunno how much it's worth, but I'm sure that it mentions that it is easier to hit your own dick with a hammer than it is to beat Fester's Quest.

Well, you found one. You tell us how hard it was to find.

I don't know how rare the guide is, but I had one. I bought one straight from Sunsoft for $3. Pretty sure that they only sold them directly. That was back in 1990 though. It is a real thin book...only a few pages. Gave a few useful tips, but of course I never got past halfway through the game.

Wow I see the maturity just went into the negative zone for this thread. I can beat Fester's Quest pretty easy BTW and it's one of my favorite games for the NES, if the guide was mail order only than it may be pretty rare.

many of those mail away guides are tough to find now, I had a hard time tracking down the ultima exodus one (took me about 5 years of random searching to find it at a fair pirce), the popularity of the game usualy will dictate how valuable they are, festers quest being an extrmeely linear game, its most likely not very desriable. but still rare enough to warrant the price of 15+ depending on who is looking at the time.

Not to get off topic, but I wonder why people still call it the regular Nintendo.

Because the next one was the super nintendo therefore the first was just regular....:-P J/K but I think that really is why most people call it that...

I think you are the only one that I've ever heard of that can beat this game. I too thought it was insanely hard with Friday the 13th a close 2nd in the hardness category.

Wasn't the reason Friday the 13th so hard was that no one could actually play the game due to suckiness, and therefore could not beat it?

Don't remind me...I spent hours and DID finish it. Not that hard once you know what to do.
The game had massive potential, let down my sucky mechanics.

Man I loved that game it just took a while to figure out how to go about it. And Festers Quest is still one of the hardest games I ever played LOL
