Are you familiarized with the colour test program included into the cartridge California Games?
This game even was bundle into the SEGA TOPTEN cartridge (one of the largest cartridges for SEGA Mega Drive). This very nice game cartridge has ten games.

I got this game with the TecToy Mega Drive. I wanted to get a brand new Mega Drive 3, in the past the price was something between R$110-150 for a sealed console. To bad that in the past most Brazilian citizens were not very smart and wanted to get a cheaper (but more expensive than previous versions of the Mega Drive) copy of the NES 8-bit instead of a LICENSED Mega Drive 16-bit with less games!
For R$200 consoles, some people still buy the expensive (unlicensed) copy of the Nintendo 8-bits instead of the less expensive Master System 3 Collection.
Well, I wanted the cartridge but the games came bundle into the memory and the version of the Mega Drive 3 that I got at that time only outputed mono sound. The SEGA Genesis CDX has stereo sound! Since there was the cartridge available as a stand alone product I also got the cartridge, it was one of the most expensive Mega Drive cartridges at that time (around R$40.00) that costed twice the price of other games, but since there is ten games it worth it!. Later, I got ride of the Super Mega Drive 3 and the cartridge. But now, I am getting another used cartridge to take some pictures of it!
It is sad, but the Mega Drive do not have California Games anymore!
Now there are newer versions of the Super Mega Drive 3 with more games (and doubled the price) ... to sad that the price is at full retail Mega Drive price! Anyway, their changed some games. The later versions comes without Streets of Rage (replaced by Alien Storm and Golden Axe III) and Revenge of Shinobi (replaced by Shinobi III). There is another music and the portraits of games returned, now there is the in demo games of some of the titles.
