Ok,I am not sure if this is where this thread is supposed to be,so please mods if it isn't please put it in it's appropriate place.I was wondering if there are any protective sleeves or cases of some kind made for the N64 game cartridges? Also, does anyone out there own or have an official N64 carry bag/case they wouldn't mind parting with?Or can someone point me in the dirrection of something similar that would do the trick?

Yes, there was a plastic baggie, that the cartridges were wrapped in. They were wrapped then placed in the carboard holder. If this what you are looking for.
Sorry to say I don't have any for purchasing.
Oh BTW:
I think this should go in Buying And Selling.
I hope you find someone. :)

there are also plastic snap cases like they had for the NES and SNES games but the N64 versions are a little bit harder to find.

i put mine in the universal game cases. best thing is, they're made for it, so no monkeying with a dremel tool to get it to fit, unlike nes carts.

media shelving (http://www.mediashelving.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=USCG) is who i buy from, but they're out of stock til november. once shipping is factored in you'll pay about $60-$70 per 100, but that's still a steal. that's US bucks, btw.
if you can wait, i recommend them. they're excellent folks to deal with.

Thanks Junkthemagicdragon those sleeves sound cool and even in US $ it is still reasonable.Thanks.
To Hitman Tyler: I would need about 13 cases or so.
I quite often find the official N64 snap cases in pawn shops or anywhere that used games can be found OTHER THAN a gaming store. Just ask for them and they've usually got piles of them.

I endorse the Universal Game Case from mediashelving.com. They fit N64, SNES, and Genesis carts (and NES carts if some plastic is trimmed out). Get the clear sleaved cases and print covers from thecoverproject.net.

Anyone also know where I can get some colored hard plastic cases for the original NES game cartridges?Or is there anywhere where I can get some universal cases that the original NES games would fit in with the manuals?

universal game cases can be modified to work with nes carts. a few minutes with a dremel and they'll fit. the results aren't terribly pretty, but with a cover stuck in the sleeve, you'll only see the somewhat mangled case when you take out the cart. unfortunately the universal cases are clear.
i didn't notice if the cases had a clip for manuals; i have so few of the manuals for my games. i'll take a look tonight.

Coincidence: I was just cleaning out my N64 tub & realized that, if I remove my 5 N64 cart cases, I can save some room! How about $12 for 5, shipped to the contiguous US?
4 are N64-specific, 1 is for multiple cart flavors, including N64.

These are the "ideal" IMO... Are these really that available? I only see them in used game stops every now and then.

I'm not the intended receiver of this message, but I'd be interested in the 4 N64 specific ones if these aren't sold.

I think it was kindof messed up that the N64 didn't have some sortof dust cover for each game not in use(unless you purchased it seperately.) I know that for SNES, each game came in a plastic bag, the manual, etc, then it also had a plastic cover that fit nicely onto the bottom of each game.
