I received an email from a customer today and don't have an answer. Thought I'd run this by the gurus here before replying. Anyone else experience this?

Help! when I get on my game boy advance and I try to save something it just goes off, then when I get back on it's says, The Save File Is Corrupt. The Previous Save File Will Be Loaded.
and sometimes my gameboy turns itself off automaticly.

PLEASE HELP ME!

I replied with that question as well as what game it's happening with. I'll let you know what I hear back.

with just that info to go off of, it sounds like the memory chip inside the game has gone bad, and it's causing the GBA to turn itself off. If the game is a Nintendo title, and it's new, if the customer called Nintendo, they would likely have them send the system and the game in for repair under warranty. If it's not, well, they might wind up having to pay for either the game ($10) or the system ($49).

If it's a regular GBA game, have the customer try deleting the game data (if it is possible). Most games have an option to completely erase the data.
