Does the sega power base converter work on the model 2 Genesis'? thanks to all who reply.

It works, but you would have to cut the pastic off the back of the converter, or take it apart and use it without the plastic shell.

"What plastic shell"? Does anyone know if the size of the Genesis 2 is the same as the (Asian?) Mega Drive 2? If so, the Brazilian Power Base Converter could fit into the model 2 ...
It does fit into the SEGA Genesis CDX (that was produced after the Genesis 2) . The first model and the later CDX model output the sound and music trough the headphones, this is very nice to play games. Almost like the SEGA Game Gear sound!

The plastic case/shell for the PBC. If you don't feel like cutting the PBC case you can just take the electronics out, put it into the Genesis 2 and it will work.
