Years ago I was hell bent on getting something used in the development of video games. Not completely sure why. Of course being a poor high school student without a job my options where limited.

Eventually I was able to obtain these empty ROM boards to satisfy what my crazy brain was telling me to do.

One is for Sega, my guess is genesis or 32x (most likely Genesis) and the other is for Super Nintendo.

I realize their value is proportional to a game actually being on them, but as themselves as a dev tool, what could the be worth being original parts used in video game development.

i think there pretty cool but its hard to set a price on them. unless they are sold thru a website somwheres at a set price. you just have to find the right buyer that would want to mess with somthing like that

Thanks, I think I originally I purchased them for 15 for the sega board, and about 23 for the Super Nintendo board on eBay.

They go between 25$ and 50$ tops, depending how lucky you get.

Oh, neat. I think I'll keep them displayed in my room though. They can be a nice conversation piece.
