Wasn't bats in the Goonies games? There were a lot of bats in the movie ...
Konami produced the Goonies series, this series is about some children's that want to venture into a treasure hunt to earn enough money to buy a house. This movie has music with lyrics from Cindy Lauper (http://www.cyndilauper.com/index.php)and it is directed by Steven Spielberg .

Nononono......

That's not a bat, that is Satan himself incarnate, hiding out in the game until he has more souls to steal. he only takes the form of a bat.

Surely do, you fought some little blue guys that were bats in addition to the flying bugs.

Someone mentioned SMB 3 - Super Mario World has bats too. They're in the underground stages and look kind of like fall little snowmen, but they're bats.

I like to wait until threads like these get two pages long so I have a real challenge but one of the first games I thought of hasn't been mentioned and is a game where the bats are about as annoying as bats can be.

Atari 2600 Frankenstein's Monster

Seriously. Pick that game up again and get past those F'ing bats.
