Is this worth anything?

Saw it at a thrift store, it seems to be in very good condition, there's also about 5 cassettes with it. The styrofoam in the box seems intact as well, looks like somebody bought it and never used it.

I don't know but they aren't easy to find so you should buy it immediately. I'd at least be interested in it.

I didn't check how much it costs.

I wouldn't want to buy it if it's worth like $10 and I end up paying $30 for it or something.

I come across them every once in a while... not boxed usually... but I never, ever find any software for it. I'd have to say that the software would be worth picking up at least.

Even if they're just lame stuff like Super Math?

well going from ebay, they are worth about as much as a case of beer. Check out the recently ended auctions to see:

So if your into stuff like that, and its priced at like 15 bucks then go for it. If I saw it for 15 I would buy it too, just kinda a cool thing to have.

I've got about 6 or 7 in the closet. As they sold in droves, and for as little as 14.99 (I bought mine new at this), they can be found next to Combat cartridges holding doors open around the world.

Timex/Sinclair 1000's aren't too common too find out here, I did manage to find one for $5.00 complete in box with the 16K RAM pack at a consignment store. Prior to that I did an online purchase to snag one complete for $15, this was a couple of years ago. It's not necessarily rare to me, but not exactly common either. I'd agree with Igorr -- if it's $15 or less, and you're into vintage computers, why not? Given the system's limitations, it's kinda fun to play around on, although be warned -- the keyboard (if you can call it that) is a flat, membrane keyboard and the screen display is black & white, no color whatsoever.

Hahahahhhaha WOW.

I went back today, as I'm only near there on Tuesdays, and it's still there.

You know why? Because it's for sale for the paltry sum of $70. That's right, SEVENTY. At Value Village. It comes with a Ram Adapter or whatever and 5 or so games.

Awesome. It's also No Exchange. No surprise there, if anyone is dumb enough to buy it...
