well probably the 360 version due to xbox live but I do have a ps3 now :)

Nice! I have played that series since the first one hit the arcades. It has given my friends & I years of gaming enjoyment on our consoles & in the arcade. Now, Microsoft needs to release another one of my fighting game favorites........Killer instinct 3! I'm really not that good at these games but I do enjoy the feeling or getting that rare(lol, for me atleast) "ultra combo" on one of my buddies.......then rubbing it in for hours! Ahhhhh, the memories:)

I'm probably going to import it for the PS3 first if there is a separate release date for the US. If not then for 360, I just have to get me an arcade stick. You know since the 360 d-pad sucks and all....

PS3 to compliment Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection Online.
And I don't like the 360 D-pad for twitch combo fighters like Tekken. (It's passable, but I prefer a dual shock or a joystick, and I own both for Playstation.)

So when are the playstation fanboys going to get all flamy about them losing another exclusive title (i noticed the fanboys on dp are pretty nice to each other though, I am talking elsewhere).

Ooh, I've seen some absolutely hilarious fanboy hissy fits on other sites over this. And I made sure to rub it in big time. :D Seriously though, I'll probably still get the PS3 version, Playstation just >> Xbox for fighting game playability IMO.

If I had both a PS3 and 360 I would get the PS3 one just because I'm use to the controller for this series. But I don't have a PS3 so I'll be getting the 360 version.

Oh god, poor PS3, what a shame, blah blah blah. Glad to hear confirmation for it, and to prevent re-releasing the game later, they're already going for the enhanced version for release. I approve. :-D
I'll be getting the PS3 version since it's the only choice if I want a functional d-pad.

It's ok PS3 lost this as an exclusive cause I can play:
Lost Planet on ps3 (more content)
Bioshock on ps3 (more content)
Mass Effect on pc (more content)
Gears of War on pc (more content)
Soon I will be able to play:
Halo 3 on pc (more content)
Gears Of War 2 on pc (more content)
Crap I guess that leaves Viva Pinata as the only exclusive, haha j/k and YES I went there. :p
I'll be getting this on ps3 to get back on topic as a companion to Tekken 5 as previously stated.

What fighting series did you think had relevance if not Tekken? I guess I can see your point though, since Tekken Tag is still my favorite.

Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter, Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, Melty Blood, etc. etc. etc. I don't think Tekken ever really recovered from Tekken 4. I'm not hatin', brother... Just pointing out that Tekken has had a bit of a 'fall from grace'.
As for which console to pick up Tekken for... Probably PS3, since I've got a nice stick for it. Also, the asshat to microphone ratio is more favorable than Xbox Live.

Im getting the PS3 version. Also I dont have a 360. And if I did, I would still buy the PS3 version because I could'nt see myself playing Tekken with the 360 controller. My hands are used to playing Tekken with a PS controller. Has been that way since Tekken 1.
