Anyone know what this is worth? I see loose cart only copies selling fairly cheap at 15-20 on ebay, but all the complete opened ones are much higher (70+) and never seem to sell. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I think you can realistically expect to get $40-$50 for a sealed mint copy of this. The ones that actually sell usually go in that range.

I bought a half dozen of these for $13.97 each at Sam's Club about 3 years ago.
I remember when this game came out. I loved the way it looked and the great reviews it got, but I SWEAR it was not released at Gamestop or through normal retail channels. They never had any record of it. Since then, I have seen used loose copies at Gamestop, but the Sam's Club bargain bin was the only place I ever found new ones.

I just kept 1 sealed one for my collection, the rest I sold a couple years back. It's probably about a $50 game sealed I would imagine.

Fantastic game, too.

EB carried the game, I was working there when it came out. I think we got ONE copy of it. I remember pulling it out of the box and goofing on the title. I read a review of it later and went to pick it up but it was gone. I didnt see another copy for a long time.
It saw a surge in value a while back, but things seemed to calm down.

You're right that it had very limited distribution which is probably why it has appreciated in value over the past few years. The only place I ever saw a new copy was at the independent game shop I visit from time to time. Other than that, I never saw a new copy anywhere and I looked, believe me.

I sold a sealed one late last year and only got $25 for it. The buyer put it back on eBay within days of receiving it and got $40 for it.

Yep, Sam's Club is how I got mine. A co-worker at EB told me about the game's existence, and how he couldn't find it. I lucked out and bought 2 copies at Sam's. Its an incredibly fun game though, I even got my fiance into it, and she really hates action games. Easily one of the best GBA games ever made, and I feel bad that I am sitting on an unopened, unloved, unenjoyed and unplayed copy right now.

I'm half-tempted to just open it and move it so its more likely to be played than if I keep it sealed because the game is just that damn good. Stupid business idea but definitely not entirely off-kilter because of the game's quality and relative scarcity.
