WTB Magical Chase for TG-16

Dude get the Japanese version. They are exactly the same game no Japanese language. It is a lot cheaper this way and open's up an whole new library of games that weren't avalible in the USA and 95% are in 100% English besides the RPG's but those can be gotten on the TG16. Here is the converter to play imports for the TG16 for only $50 shipped new.

MC can be found for the PC Engine on Ebay all day long and this will only cost half as much. God luck and hope this helps.

You know what is wrong with the Japanese version tho? It is NOT the USA release! Good luck on the hunt...I know I had a tough time.

BTW, the USA and Japanese releases are NOT exactly the same.

I have yested both my my flash carts and the games are identical besides the paperwork. Gameplay and ROM's match up. Only one small difference when ran through a hex the region code besides that they match up. Good luck though, I do however have the case and manual for the US version but no game LOL

Yeah, I previously thought they were exactly the same as well...until viewing that. But, all aside, it really is the same game. I prefer my shop floating via pumpkin balloon however...haha!

Haha! I personally speculate that the main reason the overhaul on the USA release was to make the whole witch thing hit home easier with us. I guess they thought that Americans more associate witches with Halloween. I ended up scoring mine the beginning of this month...the month of Halloween :) Welp, good luck with the hunt!

Sorry to jack the thread but a proto?? I have never seen a TG16 proto. Please post some pics as that would be simply awesome. I am still hoping to get the US version for at least four hours so I can properly dump the HU card as th eone that is out in the GoodPCE is a corrupt ROM that doesn't work on actual hardware. :( Anyhow sorry to jack your thread.

A guy I know has one complete and boxed but he wants like $1,000 bucks for it man, like I said outrageous. He actually has three copies all complete and one is still sealed.
