I'm still gonna get it since I'm a fan and am not paying $75 for a disc that I can't play online.

I agree. It's not worth the $60-90 it goes for on ebay. Hopefully this download will kill that price.

If I get it might as well get the one where I actually get a case, disc, etc. Even if the game itself is a digital copy. I think the extra 5 dollars makes it worth it if I was to end up picking it up.(20 dollars for a semi physical copy.)

Thats not a bad deal. It sucks that the 360 isn't getting it, especially since we didn't even get the demo for it. I wonder how Microsoft will feel towards Capcom about this.

For all we know, it may be the other way around, with Capcom wanting to do it, and MS vetoing it.

Personally, I don't see the point in getting a box for a downloaded game. What good is an empty box that has no media in it? I consider myself a completionist, but I have no interest at all in getting an empty box to a game that I can only download. It just seems like a waste of space. The extras are cool I guess, but it still doesn't justify the need for a box. Besides, it seems a bit silly to go to a brick & mortar store to get a box, then come home & download the game in order to play it.

Meh, I guess I'm just grumpy today?

Looks like the XBLA version will be arriving a full two weeks (http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/5F73A959-E9E4-4A4B-AD4F-FCDA476F503E.htm) before the PSN version. I guess that balances out for us not getting the demo.

*edit*

Nevermind :(

They have a bunch of free MP3's for MvC2 on the PSN(maybe 360.) But it's not the actual music. Take You For A Ride is some crappy rap song. :(.

I wish they would start releasing some of these big name XBLA/PSN games on disc. This is a start, but not really worth the extra money. Just give me a disc, call it a budget release, and I'm there.
