Why is Light Crusader (Relayer in Japan) on that list? I was under the impression that it was a Genesis game from the start. Was it ever even rumored to be a Sega CD title?

This is what Im trying to find out. I have looked on various sites & it was listed on a couple (but not many). So before I go looking for games I want to make sure they are available

The Comptons encycopedia I believe was released as a pack in with the Jvc X' Eye.

As for Y's. I doubt it. I believe Y's 4 mask of the sun was a Super Famicom title. Y's 4 was for pc engine and was called Dawn of Y's. It was also re-released on the ps2 under the name Y's IV Mask of the Sun: A New Theory. I believe the only pc engine games released on the system were lords of thunder and dungeon explorer.

My Paint is for sure a sega cd title. My Paint: The Animated Paint Program.

Guess I shoulda read the last post. He did all the work for you.

Yes, Ys IV: Mask of the Sun for the Mega CD was canceled. It never came out in Japan. I don't think it was even scheduled for an American release, unless Working Designs was planning on porting it.

I suspect that someone made a mistake way back in the '90s and lumped an upcoming Genesis/Mega Drive cartridge game in with the Sega CD titles. They even got the title wrong by smashing the North American and Japanese names together.

What was Super Strike Trilogy? Found a interview from someone who seems to have also worked on Urban Strike, that said it was going to feature extra vehicles and levels. There was no confirmation that it was a collection of the Strike titles though.

Am I correct in assuming it was going to be a collection of Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike? Too bad that never happened if its true.

Reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask, does anyone know anything about Baby Boom for the Sega Genesis/GameGear? I've been curious what that was going to be about, I can't imagine it was based off the 80s television movie.

A few Baby Boom proto ROMs surfaced recently. It was pretty weird; it's some kind of overhead action/puzzle game where you have to keep babies from damaging the furniture and get them into large tubes that suck them in for safekeeping.

For something that completely off the wall, it's not really surprising it didn't get released.

Hello, Michael of GDG here. We have released several Sega CD titles in the past. We actually have the legal rights to Wing Nuts from the developer Stargate Films. We acquired it when we licensed Star Strike and Bug Blasters (Exterminators) years ago. We actually supplied them with their own games, and they were to send us the Wing Nuts game. However, when it showed up, it turned out to be the PC version. So, if anyone comes across the Wing Nuts for the Sega CD, we have the rights and can release it!
