Concorde 2 touchscreen

I had gotten a Concorde 2 touchscreen cab from a friend of mine. He had gotten it at an auction, it looks like is has everything except the touchscreen. I tried to hook up a standard monitor to it, but it doesnt handle the same frequency. Does anyone have any idea how I can cheaply find out if this works? I will get a replacement touchscreen if I can just find out if it works or not. Any help would be appreciated.
