Well, today i received my cart from this auction.

Everyone else read the auction and descripion and look at the picture to see if i am the crazy one.
It looks like I was bidding on a Tengen Tetris (well I thought I was). And today in the mail, i received the nintendo of america licenced version (grey cart not shown in picture). And now I am pissed. Please look and see if I missed anything.

Well, the picture is of a liscensed version, and the description mentions nothing about a two player simultaneous mode, which the Tengen version has. The title says nothing about Tengen either.
The only place I even see the word "Tengen" is in the following paragraph....
"...Their was alot of contraversy going on with Nintendo Tetris and the Tengen Tetris (I will probably review the Tengen version soon) Tengen released a Tetris game to the market that was not licensed by Nintendo of America. Personally, I prefer the Tengen version more then the Nintendo, however I can't same this game is not classic! Now, on with this review..."
Despite the errors in spelling and grammar, it seems pretty clear to me that he's talking about the NES version. "I prefer the Tengen version more than the Nintendo, HOWEVER I CAN'T SAY THAT THIS GAME IS NOT CLASSIC." Clearly, he's talking about the Nintendo version, not the Tengen.
You got what you paid for at least, and you didn't over pay. No loss.

You've obviously never seen a Tengen Tetris.

Thanks guys. Ebay is good, move along, there is nothing to see here. I forgot the cart was actually shaped differnt. I never saw a tengen version so I "assumed" it was it. It looks black on my screen. And I feel stupid now.
I just hate paying 6 bucks to get that one shipped. LOL

I can't believe how much work and detail went into this description just for Tetris. This seller must have a lot of time on his hands. Or maybe he just copied and pasted it. But that would have taken a while to find. It makes me wonder if anyone has ever written a thesis for their Masters degree on Pac-Man?

Cool, I just bid on that one. My wife really wants a copy of that game, she's a Tetris freak and I remember that being by far the best of all Tetris games.

OMG quit bumping this post up. I already feel stupid enough. hehe. I just started collecting NES carts, i probably only had 5 before last weekend. And I did a search on tetris and i see that auction where he talks about TENGEN tetris, then a scrolll down and see the cart. My monitors gamma is dark, so i looked at it, and I swear it was black on my monitor. And I thought I got a tengen for 3 bucks. I was so happy. But, now I see it looks WAY differnet. Good thing I left him good feed back. :)
Anyways, Now i know I need to research stuff a little more before I get excited. And now i have a program called gamma launch installed so now everything is brighter.
Again, thanks for everyone pointing it out to me.

The price seems to be going down on this title little by little.
