Hey guys,

I'm putting a Magic Sword PCB into my Street Fighter (1987) cabinet. I'm having some issues with getting the sound to work. (Currently getting no sound at all)

From the info that I've dug up, it looks like the Street Fighter was stereo sound, and the Magic Sword is mono. (Does that make a difference?)

Aside from main JAMMA connection, I've got 2 extra connectors. On the Street Fighter PCB, they were connected to pins that were labeled CN5 and CN6. On the Magic Sword PCB, I see where I can stick the CN5, but the only other set of pins is called CN10.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, or care to walk me through this?

Thanks!

I think the mono sound would go through the Jamma harness, and as long as that is wired into the speakers it should play. Have you checked the potentiometer on the Magic Sword board to make sure the sound is not off? Do you know if the sound has worked in other cabs?

The sound has worked in other cabinets.

No idea what a potentiometer is! (I'm slowly learning things though!)
