Best USB controller for Stella

Finaly got me a nice 2600 emu, but I would really like a nice gamepad/stick for playing 2600 games. USB and readily available are preferred... Advice?

I can tell you not to use a 360 controller unless you're planning on using the d-pad. The analog stick is waaaay too touchy. D-pad works fine, though.
