Random Game O' the Day: Battletoads & Double Dragon (NES

The DP Random Churner of Chunks O' Game Data (tm) hath chosen the crossover beat'em up "Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team".

I have no experience with this game beyond firing it up to make sure it works. I think I played five minutes on top of a space ship? So you'll have to take this one over, gamers. What do you think of the game? Was the crossover as good as either series independently? Did one of the two parties in this merger get better treatment? I can certainly vouch that this one is harder than hell. It plays great, no questions there, and I honestly like it better than Battletoads. Then again. I don't think I've ever seen past level 4....

I..LOVE...THIS...GAME.
I've played this game since it came out, because this game is sweet. It's more fun then Battletoads or any of the NES double dragons, thats for sure. I've gotten all the way up to the dark queen (2 players makes the game easier, and more fun). It's definitely one of my fav NES games.

I've recently bought the SNES version, it's a fun, simple brawler, tough as hell.

Well, I managed to beat the SNES version about 4 years ago with a friend. I have yet to play the NES version, although i'm sure that it is equally entertaining.
