Anyone pick this up yet? I'm been feverishly awaiting this game for months and now I keep hearing that the difficulty is just brutal. Now I'm not one to walk away from a challenging game, but, I'm also not a fan of flawless A.I in racing games.
Is the A.I really unbeatable? I mean I know the thing should be a bit difficult, but from what I'm reading on review sites they make it seem like if you make just one wrong turn or spin out you might as well just start over, meaning you basically have to have perfect runs on almost all the races.
Please someone tell me it's not as hard as they all say it is. I want this game, but won't bother if it's just gonna result in me punting the controller.
