MY PS3 has a tendency not to connect to my network (wifi) and to cause my network to more or less crash and then be reset in order to work again how do I fix this?

You provide a lot more information.

What type of router.
What type of encryption if any.
Any MAC filtering/policies.

Otherwise, plug it in :D

Yes this would help.. Also two thing to add: How far is the router away from the PS3? Also which PS3 is it 60GB or 80GB?

Thanks

had a similar problem, my ps3 would reset my router connection (yet it connected via wifi fine). i learned that it was caused by that media server thing that is enabled on hte ps3 (i believe it lets you stream videos or something) after disabling it it worked fine. also i heard its an issue with WRT54G linksys routers mostly/only.

Interesting that's what I use and I have 100% no problems
