Street Fighter IV is coming to consoles this winter, Capcom confirmed to IGN. While the highly-anticipated fighting game was already released in the arcades, its console counterparts were previously scheduled for a first quarter 2009 launch.

Uhh... aren't the "first quarter 2009" and "this winter" like, the same thing? They never actually said "2008".

I'd like to see a new edition of Street Fighter III, but I'd like it with all of the street fighter characters. They don't need to update the graphics at all, just and all of the characters and release the game of PS3/360 or release it in the arcades and I'll be sound as a pound...but that would never happen. :beaten:

That would be so incredibly expensive I can't imagine the concept even getting past a brainstorm. And hell, SF3 never really took off the way 2 did, anyway. It seems more likely we'd get a billion more iterations of SF2 than even one more of 3 :P

So I hear another character has been hinted at, one who has only been in Alpha 3. Karin? Mika? Juli or Juni?

My money's on Karin.
