Guys,

I have a 4-Player Spider-man machine, that has a JAMMA Harness on it. I purchased a Captain America board, and it boots fine and I can coin it up and play two players, the problem is, I cant seem to find where the 3rd & 4th player, as well as the four "start" buttons connect to on the board. Each one has a separate wire with a white plug on the end, different sizes.

On the Spider-man board, it is quite obvious what goes where. On the Captain America board, those slots are not present, but there is one large white pin slot, which makes me assume that I am missing a piece. What is wrong here? Do I need a different harness? Am I screwed? Do you need pics?

GAC,
You more than likely do need a different harness for the Capt. America board. The spiderman pcb most likely has a dedicated harness for players 3 and 4. Most JAMMA games do. You'll need to do one of three things, I think. 1. Play Captain America with 2 players. 2. Buy the adapter harnesses you need from Ebay or wherever. 3. Build your own p3 and p4 harnesses. That's about all I can tell you, if you can post pics, it would definitely help. Cheers!

I recommend you modify your 4P boards to fit your Spider Man harness with this simple pin-header adapter, like so:

That way you can just switch your boards out easily without worrying about changing (not to mention finding and buying) additional controller harnesses. It's what I do to my six button boards, so they can all use the same kick harness.

Well I decided to just buy a Konami Kick Harness for 3P & 4P, now all I have to do is figure out how get my four 1P, 2P, 3P, and 4P start buttons to mount to the board....

N00b mistake number 1. You need to have one kick harness PER player. Ordered another one today for 4P......

Stupid mistake, but I will sure remember from now on!
