Anybody else remember this game?

You could get it from BBS boards way back in the day. It was a helocopter game. You had to either shoot down other helocopters or shoot down cruise missiles.

Extremely fun, yet simple. Am I the only one that remembers this little gem?

You are not alone!!!

My brother and I used to play it all the time! I thought that somehow we were the only people in the world that had played it because no one else seems to remember it. I remember there were sections of the mountains that boarderd the far left and right of the screens. With a bit of work you could slip by them and it would take you to unfinished sections of the game. It was really cool.

I also loved the sense of humor that it had. When you died your death was followed by a bit of text and I remember my favorite was something like:

General - Ma'm. We regret to inform you that your husband has died. He was a brave man.
Widow - Thats terrible... So General what are you doing tonight?

Chopper 2 and Sopwith 2 were always favorites of mine, back when I was using an old 286 CGA laptop that was barely good for much else.

I remember there were a couple places where you could drill through the mountain with your rockets and find hidden screens.
